Yee Sang Finally - Tossing

Would like to share how our friends enjoyed tossing the Yee Sang. It was such fun and i am so happy that we can enjoy and experience the Chinese New Year in this auspicious way. Thank you dear friends for coming to my home and ushering in the New Year.

Do you normally have Yee Sang on NY Eve? I have mine on the 7th day, Yan Yak 人日.

It has become a new tradition here that we have a chinese new year celebration in my house and i will prepare the yee sang. Chinese new year here is not much fun as it is not a holiday for the working population.

I hope you have a good and happy yan yak

Looks fun! Indeed a good way to introduce our culture to the Americans, which reminds me so much of my days there. Thanks for sharing!

Happy Chinese New Year, Lily! This year my family and I have a good celebration of CNY at Pasadena. I have tried out your recipes of Ning Ko, Yee Sang, Bak Kua, thanks God to have such a nice lady to share your recipes with us all. May God bless you with good health, love, joy and peace in Christ Jesus always!

Your Yee Sang is even better than some of the restaurants back in KL. I can never ever get enough of it. I think I might just try making it once. Try is the key word. If successful I will let you know but if you don't hear about it then you know it went the wayside.

I am always boggled as to how you manage all the cooking, blog, networking and still remain so sane. LOL. I love you my Tuah Chee.

I LOVE the purple you used in the Yee Sang! So colorful and festive!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Unfortunately, it does not feel so festive in Colorado since it's working week :(
