Dear friends,
i would like very much to answer all your questions as soon as i can but i am not able to do it if i cannot find the comment especially in the older posts.
i would get a comment for moderation in my email during the old blogger but now it is not so and strangely enough my dear friend lee ping's comment is the only one that comes to my email for publishing.
HELP, anyone out there.
it would be of great help to me if the title of the recipe is mentioned in the comment, then i can answer the questions asap.
i have yet to answer MAY's question - auntie lily, you have not answer my question?
MAY - i am sorry, i have searched and still cannot locate the comment.

Dear Auntie Lily,
ReplyDeleteI researched a bit on your question via google. There was a forum posting the same problem that you are describing. I did not see a solution but I am sure someone is trying to fix it if it is in a forum already.
Perhaps, some of your other fans who is more computer savvy can offer some more help. :)

ReplyDeletei moderated this comment for publishing through my email while another comment i had to log in blogger.

how are the beansprouts?
thank you very much for the recipes!
ReplyDeleteDear Auntie Lily,
ReplyDeleteYeah, I hope that someone who is savvy in computer can help you out.
The beansprouts is getting bigger at the bean. I can see a few beans that has a short tail (about 1/2 cm). I have faith that it will turn into beansprouts soon. Recipes from you have never failed on me before. :)
lee ping
ReplyDeletehow many days have it been since you soaked the beans?
i think the beans and where you are, will determine when the beans will sprouts to your liking. as long as they are not rotting they are still there.
Hi, nice blog :)
ReplyDeleteI think I started soaking a day after you post your Bean Sprouts article. So, it has been a whole week now.
ReplyDeleteNo, they are not rotting. :)
lee ping
ReplyDeletethe beans should have sprouted and be an inch long by the 4th or 5 days. did i mention to rinse with lukewarm water.
Dear Auntie Lily,
ReplyDeleteLukewarm water. Got it. I will fix it. It is only 1 cm long now.
lee ping.
ReplyDeleteyes, lukewarm water will be better than cold water. leave it to soak for 10 minutes if you can spare the time, otherwise a quick rinse is fine. make sure, it is drain very dry.
Oh, that was the problem, I store the beans in water.
ReplyDeletelee ping
ReplyDeletedrain the water now and drain dry before topping with the kitchen towel and weight
Hi Lily,
ReplyDeleteI had posted my comment in your blog for assam laksa. But it is fine by me if you were to reply to this comment.
My sincerest apologies for posting to a blog from 2005. I did not realise that it is so difficult to trace it!
Thanks for your time in helping with my query. I am having a good time here at home in Malaysia =) and still have plenty of time before I have to return to USA.

ReplyDeletebare with me for awhile. my dear friend is helping me to label the recipes and i have told her to keep the name of the recipes.
i am glad your roast pork turn out good
hihi,i agree with susanna, i prefer your past layout, it was so convenient to browse which recipe one was looking for with the old layout. with this layout i thought it would b better if the labels could expand with a list of recipes under it. then one can just click directly to the recipe one was looking for instead of browsing through all the posts. Thanks for your wonderful recipes anyway=)
